Who Is It For?
[M]Pool is the latest software to come out of the Mustard Software Development office. Its ground breaking adaptability and market leading statistical and historic data retention makes this a must have for anybody who has a pool table either at work or at home.
In the past, it was only the elite pool halls who could afford a system like this that allows for accurate pool scoring and ongoing analysis of players abilities and improvements. However, Mustard Software has again shown that you don’t need to spend thousands to have truly epic software.

What Does [M]Pool need?
Our software is specifically designed to operate in a Windows environment. However, this does not mean you need a super duper gaming machine to be able to run it. Not in the least. The minimum spec you need is ludicrously low merely:
- Intel Atom Processor
- 2gb Ram
- An active internet connection
- Windows 7,8 or 10
- and 30mb of disk space
We do have some recommendations to ensure you get the best out of it. We recommend a HD Monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and ideally touchscreen. But it will work just as well with a mouse or trackpad.

By recording the results of every game, [M]Pool builds up a picture of your progress and all the players that play on your table.

- How the game was won: Normally, 7-balled, by foul or perfect break
- Current winning streaks, how many times in a row have you beaten a player or players in a row.
- Wins/loses for the day, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month, this year, last year and all time.
- Leader boards with statistics.
- Games that resulted in a re-rack.
- Previous results, see how other players are doing when you are not there.
- Multiple tables.
- Screensaver – to prevent screen burn. Mustard Pool is designed to be left on all the time.
- On-screen keyboards – Mustard Pool is designed for touch screens but will work with a mouse or a trackpad/trackball.
Example Set Up
We have an ASUS Vivo mini PC with an Intel Celeron 2957U Processor running at 1.40 GHz. 2Gb RAM and 16gb Hard Drive. We are using Windows 8 as Windows 10 needs more than 32gb of disk space to run.
Our ASUS Mini PC is fastened to the back of an unbranded 22inch HD Touch Screen monitor. Both PC and Monitor are on a wall-mounted monitor arm.
We only have one pool table, but we have created three tables within Mustard Pool so that statistics can be differentiated.
- A reds and yellows table
- A spots and stripes table
- A table for playing doubles.
So What Will All this cost?
As with all our software, we want to ensure that it is the best it can possibly be before we launch. Currently we are seeking Beta testers to help us make it better and better.
We are after 50 beta testers to test, evaluate and improve the software in their own environment.
Once launched all our beta testers will be provided with a significant discount on the price, with a possibility of a free licence if their contribution adds some unique functionality to the software.

Upcoming Features
The basics of Mustard Pool are all there. We are now focusing on the “Stats” screens. We want to display the following for each player, each table and each account:
- Red/Yellow/Stripe/Spot wins
- Number of perfect breaks
- Number of foul wins
- Number of 7-ball wins
- Number of re-racks
- Longest winning streak
- Longest losing streak
Best of X games, where X is an odd number. We all play the best of so many games. Mustard Pool will soon keep track.
We are also looking at players from different accounts playing each other.
